Phase I 心脏康复中心ilitation

Phase I cardiac rehabilitation takes place within the hospital setting, once prescribed by the patient's physician. A physical therapist will start a light individualized exercise program with the patient. 这可能包括, but is not limited to, simple activities such as getting out of bed, 原地行进, and walking in the hospital halls

The physical therapist will monitor the patient's heart rate, 血压, and exertion level with the exercise. With each visit, the goal is to increase exercise tolerance. 教育 also plays a role in phase I cardiac rehabilitation. The therapist may educate the patient on ways to modify cardiac risk factors and disease processes.

Phase II 心脏康复中心ilitation

When the patient is discharged from the hospital, further cardiac rehabilitation may be required. To continue on with cardiac rehabilitation, the patient would require a physician prescription for Phase II 心脏康复中心ilitation.

A physician's referral is required for examination and treatment within this program.
